Austin FC has its first head coach.
The club announced Tuesday that Josh Wolff has been named Austin's inaugural manager. The 42-year-old is currently an badistant coach of the Gregg Berhalter men's national team staff in the USA. Wolff will remain at Berhalter's staff at USMNT until the end of the year. A search for replacement is underway.

A leading United States forward between 1999 and 2008, Wolff played on the 2002 and 2006 World Cup teams after making his name with the Chicago Fire and the Kansas City Wizards. He finished his career as a player with DC C. United in 2012 and worked on Ben Olsen's staff in the capital city before moving west to join Gregg Berhalter in Crew SC before the 2014 MLS season.
