Destiny 2: Season of Opulence will allow players to customize the weapon drops.

Earlier this week, Bungie revealed that players could choose their own rewards in the next Destination 2: Season of opulence, Menagerie. This week's Bungie blog post clarified exactly how that system will work.

When the Season of Opulence begins, players will gain a new mission to enter the Leviathan ship above the Nessus planetoid. Players must complete the mission before they can begin the new raid, Crown of Sorrows. To finish this start, players can instantly increase all their characters to 690 Power, right where they need to start the Season of opulence. But the mission also rewards a new key element for the season: the Chalice of opulence.

The Chalice is an element shared by all the Guardians in a single account, and players can use it to create their own weapons. They can even use powerful runes to determine some of the properties of the weapon, which will work with the weapon.

Once players have the Chalice, they can earn runes with weekly rewards, weekly chests at the new location of Nessus Barge, and use them as consumables that rewards are executed in normal daily activities such as Strikes, Crucible or Gambit. Once the players have enough runes, they can lock them in their Chalice before entering the Kindergarten activity. Bungie has not clarified what is still the Menagerie, beyond stating that it will be a six-player activity.

After playing a full Menagerie race, they will rely on the runes they have placed in their Chalice of opulence, which is customizable and upgradeable. To improve your Chalice, players will need a new currency called Imperials.

Players can win Imperials by completing weekly rewards, Trumps or using a consumable that gives Imperials the activities. Players can use their Imperials to improve their Chalice with a benefit that helps them win more Imperials through playlist activities such as Strikes, Crucible and Gambit.

Players can use their Imperials to unlock benefits in the order they want. Bungie gift three examples of benefits that players can choose from the beginning:

  • Additional runes slot for additional customization
  • Earn more runes and different varieties of runes.
  • Earn powerful rewards from Menagerie

Bungie gave an example of how this process works: "If you wanted to win a random roll of a" Beloved "Sniper Rifle with handling as a feature of the Masterpiece, you would use a Retirement Rune, any red rune and any purple rune. de runas is your freebie. "

The beloved sniper they refer to seems to be a remake of destination& # 39; S LDR 5001, seen in the image above. Apart from the configuration of this sniper, the community will have to work together to discover the rune board for the rest of the weapons.
