Manchester United risked losing an important goal of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer of 65 million pounds, while Tottenham has contacted a new (former) right-back, all in the newspapers on Monday.
SOLSKJAER COULD LOSE A MAIN OBJECTIVE OF MIDFIELD
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ed Woodward disagree about a possible move for Bruno Fernandes.
Solskjaer is looking to add a new creative midfielder this summer after Ander Herrera's departure for PSG and continued uncertainty about Paul Pogba's future at Old Trafford.
A long list of names has been linked throughout the summer transfer window, but the two that appear on United's short list are Sean Longstaff, young man from Newcastle and the sports captain Fernandes.
The 24-year-old comes from the back of an incredible season in which he scored 32 goals and won the Portuguese Cup for his club, while also helping Portugal to win the final of the League of Nations.
Reports suggest that Solskjaer is trying to convince United's executive vice president, Woodward, that the creator of Sporting games is worth more than 50 million pounds, while the Portuguese club expects close to 65 million pounds.
Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha Solskjaer says he is having a real battle to convince United's board that Fernandes would be worth it.
