You will be strong before the game of the NBA finals on Wednesday.

Heavy metal rockers James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett, from San Francisco Metallica, will perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" before Game 3 at Oracle Arena in Oakland.

The series between the home team, the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors is tied 1-1.

The Metallica site on Twitter announced the music news before the game on Tuesday.

"Look for James and Kirk to perform the National Anthem before notifying tomorrow, while @Warriors host the @Raptors for Game 3 of the #NBAFinals."

The Canadian national anthem will be played by Canadian singer Tenille Townes.

Metallica had already played the national anthem during Game 5 of the 2015 Warriors championship race.

And Hetfield and Hammett played a heavy guitar version of "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Oracle Park in San Francisco for baseball fans in a game of Giants vs. Yankees sold out early this season.
