Honestly, PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold are some of the best deals in all games. PlayStation Plus gives you access to PS4's online services, those stored in the cloud and exclusive offers on the PlayStation Store. But the best part is that you get a couple of free games every month.

Free May PS Plus games are available until Tuesday. They are the chaotically charming multiplayer game Overcooked and the magnificent game guided by the narrative What Remains of Edith Finch. Starting on Tuesday, you'll have access to June's free PS Plus games: Borderlands: The Handsome Collection and Sonic Mania.

Xbox Live Gold offers similar benefits, but you can also enjoy free games every month. You get two Xbox One games, as well as two Xbox 360 games that are backwards compatible and can be played on Xbox One. The May games are Marooners, The Golf Club 2019, Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon and Comic Jumper. The June Gold Games are EA Sports NHL 19, Portal: Still Alive, Rivals of Aether and Earth Defense Force 2017.
