The new Material Play Store design is now being implemented with version 15.1.24. The updated design updates Play Store with a clean white theme and leaves green. You may remember that we first covered this in April, when the new design was discovered from an APK dismount.
In addition to releasing all the green, you have also moved the navigation bar from top to bottom and eliminated the music category. However, do not worry, you can still explore the music by opening it from the hamburger menu.
Some other immediate changes you'll notice include more rounded corners, a new font and the new flat design that no longer uses a card interface, lines or shadows.
The pages of the application also have a great renovation, with the qualifications and statistics placed on the top and an installation button that now runs the entire horizontal length of the page. Not only that, but when installing an application, the previous download bar has been renewed in a circle around the icon of the application.
In general, the new design provides users with a cleaner and more cohesive look that updates it with the Material Theme standards. If you have been following other Google applications, you will know that we have seen similar facial changes for Gmail, Google Drive, Google Voice and some others.
If you are not yet viewing the new design, make sure you have version 15.1.24 of the application or download it from APKMirror. If you have the latest version of Play Store and still can not see it, try clearing the cache in the application settings.
Not only has the Play Store received a major update to the user interface, but Google has also been making changes behind the scenes. On May 30, we reported on major updates to Play Store policies regarding badual content, hate speech, loot boxes and the sale of marijuana.
